Custom Scheduling

Schedule SSIDs with ease and visibility

Delegate restricted scheduling to specific users.

Schedule SSIDs

Multiple criteria can be used to schedule:

  • Site (Location)

  • Group

  • Tag

Recurring and One-Time Events

"Enable the guest network in the conference rooms every day from 6:00 AM - 10:30 PM"

"Schedule the public SSID to activate at building X for a one time event from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM"

Automated Reporting / Notification

Notify end-users or admins by email, SMS or webhooks:

  • One-time event notification to email groups

  • Alert admins when a new event is scheduled.

Automated Provisioning

Supports APs, Switches and PSUs

Our step-by-step inventory workflow will eliminate tedious naming, configuration and tracking throughout the entire deployment process.

  • Stage received equipment
Scan MAC/serial/barcode/name/site/notes (barcode scanner supported). See inventory status before devices come online.

  • Auto-naming & site/group assignment
Assign names/sites during staging; on first contact WifiSched auto-applies name, site, group (including subnet-based detection) and uploads template variables.

  • Optionally add devices to asset systems (e.g., GreenLake) and assign subscriptions automatically.

  • Notifications

    • New inventory received

    • Device online & provisioned

    • “First AP provisioned at Site X”

    • Periodic roll-ups every X minutes with interface speed, uplink port, site, group, name

Post-Install Visibility

Know it’s right—immediately.

  • Summaries: automatic post-install reports with interface speed, uplink port, site, group, and final device name.

  • Optional health checks: basic reachability and config sanity after provisioning.

  • Extended retention: client connection logs long-term; audit logs for compliance.

  • Automated storage: retain in WifiSched (up to 3 years) or push offsite/into your archive or SIEM.

  • Export & forward options: CSV/JSON, webhooks.

API Integrations

Sync data with other systems without maintaining custom scripts/tokens/databases.

Outbound (webhooks/REST)

Last-seen client time, device summaries, status.

Inbound (pull or webhook)

Device descriptions/metadata by serial/MAC.

Custom Integrations

Custom integrations added on request; new integrations are added regularly.

Delegate Control

Right access, right people—without exposing your NMS.

  • Granular privileges: scope by site, specific SSIDs, and days/times.

  • Role-based actions: allow schedule-only or approve-required workflows; keep core platform access limited.

  • Auditable by design: every change and run is recorded with who/what/when.
